I really enjoy the movement, especially the climbing up and around the walls. As the other commenter said, I think giving the player a lighter weight, a floatier jump, and maybe an increase in movement speed would be a nice improvement
I think it is looking great and I am excited to see what kind of interesting levels/puzzles you make with these mechanics!
Really liking this character controller. The wall-stick goo-based movement is a really fun and interesting idea. I think in-practice it shows it has a lot of potential. I really love the way the wall-grab/ stick works. It's intuitive, fun, unique and easy-to-understand at a glance. I really enjoy going from climbing around the walls, sticking to the ceiling and traversing the level's architecture. I think the controller could be improved by adding another trigger/shift action to make PlayerGoo stick to their current surface (similar to Grab button from Celeste). This would allow players to scale along the perimeters of level geometry. I think this would add to the gooey feeling of the player character. I think giving the player a lighter weight and making their jump a bit floatier would add to this feeling. A floatier jump also gives the player more airtime to use their dash for more intricate movement. Overall I think the controller is good and the character has an interesting premise for platformer game, I'd really like to mess around with it in a bigger level
